The Urban League of Greater New Orleans is accepting applications now through Oct. 23 for the 2014 Women-In-Business Challenge, a small business accelerator program providing business growth education, technical assistance, personalized consulting and mentorship to ten female business owners. The program culminates in an opportunity for five finalists to compete during New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (March 22-28, 2014) for a substantial cash investment to start or accelerate growth in a woman-owned business venture. This is the second annual Women-In-Business Challenge in partnership with The Idea Village.

“The Women-In-Business Challenge provides an opportunity for local female entrepreneurs to accelerate their ideas into profit-generating entities that will positively impact the New Orleans community” said Erika McConduit, interim CEO of the Urban League of Greater New Orleans.
