The New Orleans Police Department’s (NOPD) Public Integrity Bureau (PIB) office is moving to a new address. On Friday, April 21, PIB will be located at 1340 Poydras St., Suite 1900, in the Orleans Tower.

The new office will be open to the public on Monday, April 24. Orleans Tower offers 16 free parking spaces on the side of the building for visitors to use for up to one hour. Visitors must sign-in with security in the building’s lobby.

The office is currently located at 118 N. Rocheblave.

PIB accepts complaints and commendations for NOPD officers. The public can make a complaint or commendation to PIB in five different ways, including: by phone (504) 658-5800; fax (504) 658-6809; email NOPDPIB@nola.gov; in person or by mail. Citizens can also go to any police station or notify any member of the department for assistance in filing their complaint.

According to NOPD, the Public Integrity Bureau promotes the credibility of, and public confidence in, New Orleans police officers and receives allegations in a citizen-friendly, non-intimidating environment, and performs exhaustive, objective analysis of these allegations.
