The Isaiah Institute’s NOLA Student Leadership and Civic Engagement Project will hold a mayoral candidate forum from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life, Kendall Cram Ballroom on 20 McAlister Dr.
Both candidates, LaToya Cantrell and Desiree Charbonnet, are confirmed to attend.
A welcome reception will be held from 4:00-4:30 p.m. and the forum will begin at 4:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
Tulane University and its student organizations are hosting the forum. The leadership and civic engagement project empowers students to identify, address and resolve challenging issues in university, neighborhood and community settings through organization and civic engagement. This fall, civic engagement activities focus on the City of New Orleans Municipal Election.
