From a press release
Up to 1,000 trees are available, and each household can receive two free trees on a first-come, first-serve basis. Citrus trees will also be available for purchase at $40-$50.
The event will include tree care education, activities for children and rain barrel workshops. Rain barrels are used to capture storm water and hold it for later use on lawns and gardens. The rain barrel workshops will cost $25 and includes a rain barrel. Parks and Parkways staff will also be available to offer expertise in selection and placement of trees as well as planting information.
