Early voting in the May 24 special election takes place from 8:30 a,m, until 6 p.m. daily from Saturday, March 10 through Saturday March 17, with the exception of Sundays. Voters in Orleans Parish will go to the polls to decide three races.

In one political contest, Civil District Court Clerk Dale Atkins and Criminal Court Judge Robin Pitmann face off in the race for a judgeship on the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal.

Attorneys Royce Duplessis and Kenny Bordes, businessman and music promoter Eldon Anderson and French Quarter bartender Danil Faust are seeking the District 93 seat in the Louisiana State House of Representatives.

Meanwhile attorneys Taetrece Harrison and Richard Perque along with First City Court Clerk Ellen Hazeur are in a race to determine who will be the next judge in civil district court.
