The New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation (NOTMC) recently announced that Sybil K. Reed has been promoted to office manager.

Reed will lead NOTMC in administrative operations, ensuring the organization is maximizing its efficiency. As office manager, she will oversee daily office operations of NOTMC including managing tourism merchandise and inventory, providing assistance to the financial operations and working on tourism-related projects and inquiries.

“Sybil is instrumental to the success of this organization,” said Mark Romig, President and CEO of NOTMC. “I know she will continue to be a valuable team member in the coming years as we message the story of our great city to leisure visitors worldwide.”

A native New Orleanian, Reed attended the University of New Orleans before starting her career at New Orleans Public Service, Inc. (now Entergy). Before joining the NOTMC in 2011, Reed spent time working at South Central Bell/AT&T, Tulane University Hospital and Isidore Newman School.

“NOTMC has always prioritized personal development for its team,” said Reed. “I am very excited to start my expanded role with this organization and contribute to the growth of the New Orleans tourism industry.”
