Mayor LaToya Cantrell will host the second stop in her Affordable Housing Tour event for the public at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church (Morton Hall, 5600 Read Blvd.).
The AHT is a series of community meetings to engage the public in discussions regarding the future of affordable housing in the City of New Orleans. During the 7-stop tour the Mayor will visit each district (Districts C and E twice) to outline her plan and available resources provided by the City to ensure equitable and affordable housing in New Orleans.
Mayor Cantrell will guide a discussion that also will feature presentations from Ellen Lee, Director of the Office of Community and Economic Development; Marjorianna Willman, Director of Housing Policy & Community Development; and Nicole Heyman, Deputy Director of Community Assets/Investment.
A question-and-answer session with residents will follow the presentations.
