Councilwoman Kristin Gisleson Palmer is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank to provide a free drive-up food pantry for hospitality and gig economy workers affected by COVID-19.
The drive-up food pantry launched today (Friday, March 2) and includes additional dates from Monday, March 23 to Friday, March 27.

Councilwoman Palmer has also partnered with NOLA Tree Project to deliver hot meals to seniors and homebound residents Mondays through Fridays from 3 – 5 p.m. The NOLA Tree Project will also be offering free hot meals for pick up at 1509 Filmore Ave. Delivery options are available if needed, by contacting Connie Udocall (504) 415-8434.
