The Congressional Black Caucus is hosting a National Black Leadership Telephone Town Hall at 11 a.m. (CST) Thursday, April 9, to discuss the impact of the Coronavirus on Black communities and how to access resources provided in the CARE Act, including direct payments, unemployment insurance, and small business lending.

“It is time to survey our communities to determine how we have been impacted, if the legislative efforts are helping, and what more is needed,” says CBC Chairwoman Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA). “In order for us to get through this pandemic, we need to be organized, mobilized, and actively push for the policies and resources that directly benefit the Black community.”

To participate,  please register for the town hall here and you will receive a phone call on Thursday at 11a.m. (CST) to join the town hall. Space is limited so please register now.
