District D Councilman Jared Brossett is partnering with Culture Aid NOLA, Second Harvest Food Bank, Beacon Light Baptist Church, New Orleans Musicians Clinic, MaCCNO, 504HealthNet and Trinity Loaves and Fishes to host a free food pantry for residents and families impacted by COVID-19 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, at Beacon Light Baptist Church, 1937 Mirabeau Ave.

Drive-ups are encouraged, but walk-ups will be accepted. There is no paperwork or ID required.

“I am deeply grateful for all of these partners for helping to make this food pantry possible, in addition to all of the incredible work they’ve done and continue to do for New Orleanians struggling to stay afloat during COVID-19,” said Councilman Brossett. “These are obviously unprecedented times for all of us, but I’m proud to be able to provide this much-needed relief for our friends and neighbors as we continue to fight this together.”
