Mobile COVID-19 Testing takes place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily Thursday, May 7 through Saturday, May 9 at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, 8181 Lake Forest Ave. Residents should enter on the Lake Forest side of the church.
Testing in New Orleans East is a provided through the partnership between LCMC Health, the New Orleans Health Department, and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) to conduct a mobile testing campaign for COVID-19 across the metro area over the coming weeks.
There will be 250 test kits daily on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The mobile campaign will bring walk-up testing to neighborhoods that have been heavily affected by COVID-19, with the goal of identifying early cases.
Results are expected to be online or delivered within two to three days. This testing site will also have a myriad of wraparound services, including those provided by Metropolitan Human Services District, Healthy Start, WIC, CURE Violence, and the Xavier University College of Pharmacy

Language interpreters will also be on site to assist any who need this service.
Documentation is not required, but those who have a driver’s license or identification and health insurance are encouraged to bring the information. In order to be eligible for testing individuals must be 18 years or older and confirm that they have either :been recently exposed to COVID-19, or have recently had symptoms of the virus. However, individuals do not have to display symptoms to be tested.
