Early voting begins Saturday, June 20 and continue through Saturday, July 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily, excluding Sundays.

Registered Democrats and Republicans will be eligible to vote in their party’s Presidential Preference Primary.

On the ballot for Presidential Nominee Democratic Candidates are Joseph R. Biden, Tulsi Gabbard, and Bernie Sanders. Presidential Nominee Republican Candidates will include Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente, “Bob” Ely, Matthew John Matern, Donald J. Trump, and Bill Weld.

Voters in 24 parishes – Bienville, Caddo, Calcasieu, Concordia, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Evangeline, Jefferson, Lafourche, Livingston, Natchitoches, Orleans, Ouachita, Rapides, Richland, Sabine, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Washington and West Feliciana ­– may have a local election on their ballot.

Orleans Parish voters will see Judge for 1st City Court, Section B on the ballot – which handles evictions, small claims, tenant-landlord disputes, contract disputes and personal injury claims under $25,000 and other “everyday” disputes.

Judicial candidates include Aylin Acikalin, Robbins Graham, Schalyce Harrison, Marissa A. Hutabarat and Sara Lewis.

Seats on the Democratic State Central Committee (DSCC) as well as Parish Executive Committees for both the Republican and Democrat parties will also be on the July 11 ballot.
