District C Councilwoman Kristin Palmer and staff will host community office hours for District “C” residents in the Cut-off neighborhood located in lower Algiers.

Starting Wednesday, Sept. 23, District “C” staff will host community office hours from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Cut-off Recreation Center, 6600 Belgrade St.

“Constituent services are a top priority of mine, and every week, a staff member will be on-site at the Cut-off Recreation Center, after work hours, to address a wide array of issues on the spot,” says Palmer. “My goal is to improve the quality of life in all District C neighborhoods by ensuring every citizen has access to my office. I hope that establishing community service office hours in the Cut-off will enhance my office’s relationship with the surrounding neighborhoods in Algiers and make it easier for residents to stay engaged.”
