Dru Hill to Headline Annual Westbank Heritage Festival

Westbank Heritage Fest Returns September 20-21 with Food, Music, Family Fun
WESTWEGO — The Westbank Heritage Food & Music Festival is set to light up the Alario Center from noon to 9 p.m. daily Sept. 20-21, with a vibrant lineup of local and national music acts, food vendors, arts & crafts, and family‐friendly activities. The Iconic R&B group, Dru Hill will headline the event on Saturday, Sept. 20.
Music & Headliners:
The festival will showcase a diverse mix of genres including zydeco, jazz, blues, R&B, country, rap, and gospel. Acts confirmed so far include Big Pokey Bear, Mia X with The Original Pinettes Brass Band, Rockin’ Dopsie Jr. & The Zydeco Twisters, Shamarr Allen, Choppa, Royal Essence, and The Roots of Music among others.
More Than Music:
Beyond the stage, the festival will feature a “Bestbank Boulevard” with more than 20 food and marketplace vendors, offering regional cuisine, crafts, and local products. Kids can enjoy a full “Kids Zone” experience, and on Sunday there will be a Gospel Explosion and Worship Experience led by Pastor Jonathan Everett.
Admission & Access:
Admission is free. There are also VIP ticket options for those interested in extra perks. The Alario Center is located at 2000 Segnette Boulevard, Westwego. Parking is available on‐site and nearby.
