Stroke is a leading cause of disability and death worldwide, but it can often be prevented through early identification of risk factors and prompt treatment.

At the 2023 Stroke Awareness Event, participants can take advantage of various screenings, including blood pressure checks, heart rate assessments, EKGs, BMI measurements, waist-hip ratio evaluations, carotid ultrasounds, and transcranial doppler tests.

These screenings are vital in identifying potential risk factors and enabling early intervention.
